Sandrøse is a multifaceted artist with a fully independent creative process, His first EP, from Out There, refers to music styles born in specific places (Atlanta trap, Chicago house, Marseille rap...). Except here, it is music that comes from a singular elsewhere, an imaginary place called Out There.
It blends echoes of glitch-pop, lo-fi electronic, and alt-R&B, with strange reflections of nostalgia and fantasy, sounds inspired by countless sources (cartoons, video games, horror, the internet…). And yet, the seven tracks that make up from Out There remain accessible, even reaching something universal through the themes they explore: self-confidence, the initiatory journey, emancipation, attachment… Both in composition and writing, the approach is visual, dreamlike, sometimes surreal, just like the imaginary world in which it takes shape.

Alongside the EP, Out There has also been brought to life visually. Haunted by saturated colors and creatures that could have stepped out of Studio Ghibli, it wavers between the universe of childhood and a distorted, mysterious world. It is precisely this contrast that Sandrøse loves to explore above all, weaving together grace and horror, delicate music and unsettling rhythms.
